So why would you want to use Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is Wireless. Really, that's the only reason I can think of.
Maybe you lost your cord or maybe you are out of USB ports. I won't say Bluetooth is easier than using a cord, but it certainly is cooler. Any time you can avoid dragging out wires your coolness factor is increased by 10 fold.

If you are looking to transfer your images or any other files from your phone wirelessly, you can simply turn your Bluetooth options on from your PC and then connect via your phone. Most newer computers will have the option for Bluetooth.
These instructions are for both a Windows PC or a MAC.
Before you begin, make sure your mobile device and the destination computer are less than 10 feet or so apart. Bluetooth only works within a certain range.
How to Transfer from Laptop or Phone to Computer
Step 1 – Turn Bluetooth On
• On the computer your files will be transferred TO, go to the Start Menu and type in Bluetooth. This will bring up your Bluetooth settings. If you don't see these you may not have Bluetooth and if not you should use another transfer method.
• On a MAC, go to the Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth.
Step 2 – Find the Device You Want to Connect With
• If Bluetooth is not active on your Windows PC, switch the Bluetooth button from 'Off' to 'On'. You should see a 'Now Discoverable: NameOfDevice'.
• On a MAC, if Bluetooth is not on already, select 'Turn Bluetooth On' and 'Show Bluetooth in Menu Bar' if you would like to see your connection from your menu. You should see the name of your Bluetooth device in this window and whether or not it's connected to anything.
Step 3 – Pair Your Devices

• On iOS, this is probably under General > Settings. Turn Bluetooth 'ON' on your mobile device and then select 'Pair' to the device name from the previous step.

Step 4 – Specify to Send or Receive Files
• From your computer, before you can send or receive files you have to select this in the Bluetooth panel by selecting 'Send or receive files via Bluetooth' and then choosing whether you are Sending or Receiving.

• If sending, select the 'Send files' option, then choose the destination path on your mobile device.
• If receiving, select the 'Receive files' option, and your computer will standby, waiting for the transfer from your mobile device.
Step 5 – Transfer Your Files
• From your device, select the files/photos you wish to send and then click 'Share' > 'Bluetooth' > Select Device.
• If you had allowed the send/receive from your computer then your files or photos should start to transfer to your computer.
